Experience and Promise

noSnow1

The following photographs sums up what my experience was like in the Philippines. THERE WAS NO SNOW!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha… It was FUN IN THE SUN all the way.

Also, I promised myself a few things before I left for the Philippines last March. And this was one of them. During the 2008-2009 winter time in Winnipeg, there were billboards everywhere about how great it was to travel to warmer places. Every time I drove by those billboards, I promised myself that I will do the same advertisement photo they have in a beach in the Philippines. So here it is. Hehehe…

Promise fulfilled. Experience unforgettable. ^__^

Kawayan(Bamboo)

bamboo

Bamboo is the fastest-growing woody plant on Earth. It’s as durable as hardwood, even though the plant is technically in the grass family.

Bamboo comprises up to 99 percent of the giant panda’s diet. And because of bamboo’s relatively low nutritional value, a single panda can spend up to 16 hours a day eating as much as 40 pounds of the stuff. Yum!

Grilled Tuna Panga(Jaw)

tuna2

The most delicious food I ate in Davao, the grilled tuna panga makes you think twice if you are really eating fish. It’s just too good to be true and it’s healthy too. ^__^ After my first bite, I knew that no steak that I’ve ever eaten before can compare to the amazing flavor of this masterpiece. This is a must-eat at least once in your life.

Inspire me

by Kevin John Dail

give me colorful clouds for a start,
they will paint a picture.
mutable soft shapes bubble,
blobs and wind blown streaks
of shadow and aura,
a rainbow within each one;
all morphed in the mind,
created by nature’s
careless whim.
there,
you will find art.
