Kawayan(Bamboo)

bamboo

Bamboo is the fastest-growing woody plant on Earth. It’s as durable as hardwood, even though the plant is technically in the grass family.

Bamboo comprises up to 99 percent of the giant panda’s diet. And because of bamboo’s relatively low nutritional value, a single panda can spend up to 16 hours a day eating as much as 40 pounds of the stuff. Yum!

Inspire me

by Kevin John Dail

give me colorful clouds for a start,
they will paint a picture.
mutable soft shapes bubble,
blobs and wind blown streaks
of shadow and aura,
a rainbow within each one;
all morphed in the mind,
created by nature’s
careless whim.
there,
you will find art.
